Oddny and Gunnhild meet as children, and they could not be more different. Oddny longs for a peaceful life. Gunnhild burns for power. But after a wise woman makes an ominous prophecy, the girls swear a blood oath to help one another. When tragedy strikes Oddny's family she finds herself lost.
