Ulrike Maier, Jahrgang 1979, studierte Germanistik und Pädagogik an der LMU München. Seit 2003 arbeitet sie als Redakteurin im Hauschka Verlag, seit 2010 ist sie hauptverantwortlich für die Lernhilfen im Bereich Deutsch und Vorschule zuständig. In dieser Tätigkeit begleitet sie den Entstehungsprozess einer Lernhilfe bis zum Druck. Das bedeutet Planung und Konzeption, Betreuung der Autoren sowie Zusammenarbeit mit Grafikern, Illustratoren und Druckereien. Diese Erfahrung in der redaktionellen Tätigkeit bringt sie bei der Erstellung eigener Lernhilfen für den Hauschka Verlag ein. Dabei ist ihr besonders wichtig, dass die Kinder mit den Materialien den Lernstoff möglichst effizient und selbstständig wiederholen und üben können. Hauptaugenmerk liegt dabei natürlich immer auf einer kindgerechten und verständlichen Darstellung.
